Latin Club Eligibility:
Anyone in one of my Latin classes or who has taken at least Latin 2 from me.
Who's in
charge? Mrs. Fitz is the official sponsor.
Why: It
looks very good on your resume if you belong not only to a club, but to a
nationally recognized club. Also, holding offices in clubs is a big deal for
resumes.
Even better: If you're in the Latin club, anyone
with a 90% or above by March 11 (their cut off date for determining eligibility
is the end of the third quarter grade) can be nominated by me for the National
Latin Honor Society. (Of course, I will nominate all of you who have 90s or
above on that date.) Again, being in the National Latin Honor Society is sure
proof that you're the most amazing person ever J.
